This range is not very wide and the amount of shots is very small. So, in order to increase the firepower of the weapon, you need to build more of them. There is a very limited amount of time that you can spend to load your weapon. And, when you are trying to call in the strikes, it gets even more limited. So, if you are in a hurry, it can be very frustrating to have to wait for so long. And, of course, you need to be aware of the fact that, even if you call in the strike, there is still a chance that the target will not be destroyed.
